LoM is back!

I'm so happy Legend of Maxx has continued! For those of you who don't know, LoM is a terraria comic that mixes epicness and comedy. About a year ago, it discontinued, but now it's back up again! Whoo!

PS: Cyril and June will forever be my favorite characters. I still love all of the others, though. A lot of times characters can be bland and personality-lacking, but every single one has a distinct trait. I recommend checking it out.

I'm Changing the Blog

Pls don’t get angry at me for this.

Okay, I’m making some changes to this blog, because I’m EXTREMELY busy and I haven’t update in…forever. Worry not (my two or something followers)! This blog is not (completely) dead!

I just decided that I want a mixed bag blog. I’ll still add book reviews every now and then.

DO NOT JUDGE ME

You: Why are you writing in comic sans?
Me: I’m going into an undertale phase.

Yes, I have been officially drawn into yet another fandom.

Review:The Tapper Twins Go to War (With Each Other) by Geoff Rodkey

8-13
Advanced Reader: 7-13
Warning: Language. To learn more, click the link dubbed language.

This brand-new series by a popular screenwriter is a pitch-perfect, contemporary comedy featuring twelve-year-old fraternal twins, Claudia and Reese, who couldn't be more different...except in their determination to come out on top in a vicious prank war! But when the competition escalates into an all-out battle that's fought from the cafeteria of their New York City private school all the way to the fictional universe of an online video game, the twins have to decide if their efforts to destroy each other are worth the price.

Told as a colorful "oral history" by the twins and their friends, and including photos, screenshots, chat logs, online gaming digital art, and text messages between their clueless parents, The Tapper Twins is a hilariously authentic showcase of what it's like to be in middle school in our digitally-saturated world.

Claudia Tapper is a normal girl with a normal brother. Usually the twins will argue, their mom and/or their dad will come in and put a stop to everything, somebody gets ice cream (Claudia) and somebody loses their Metaworld privileges (Reese). But one day everything changes. It might have been the pop tart. Or the Thailand food. But the twins do not care (okay, maybe a little bit). They declare war-who will win, Claudia ( a.k.a. Invisible Death ) or Reese  (a.k.a. The Soccer Idiot ).

Ah, Sibling Rivalry. Most of my viewers probably know what it is, unless they are an only child or their parents force them to get along scaringly well.

As a geek, I AM SO HURGING HAPPY THAT THEY INVOLVED VIDEO GAMES IN HERE!!! (So are most of the tomboys and the boys that read my blog, I'm assuming).

Farewell to pottermore

If you have ever read Harry Potter, you probably have heard of Pottermore too. And even if you haven't, I'm am truly sorry that you never experienced it.

Pottermore is still here, but it is not the version it used to be-not that it has bad content, it's just lacking most of it's best material.

It used to have not only fun wizarding duel and potion games, but scenes from the books and movies that you could explore, read about, and collect magical items from. And to top that off, you could get your own virtual wand, be sorted into your house, and compete for house points.

Even worse, some of you may had not read/watched all of the books/movies, and so you could not visit the animated scenes that were beyond you, and now you never will.

But on a good note, you can still read about certain things, just like in the original site. But other then that, pretty much everything is gone.

Maybe they will bring it back, but I seriously doubt it. So for now, can just remember the old and began the new.

Q&A with Crae

Why did you start this blog?

I had a lot of time on my hands, and I loved reading and writing, so why not start a blog? With a little help, I got through all the making stuff, and voila! The Best Book Blog ( Ever ) was born! ( I didn't make one for adults, because <most> of books for them are boring. But the books for 7-15 are soooooo much better!

When you were younger, what was your favorite American Girl?

I took a fancy to Kaya at age seven. These days, Maryellen, the new doll on the block, is starting to catch my interest.

What is your favorite book(s)?

A three way tie between Percy Jackson, Harry Potter, and Series of Unfortunate Events. Again, I do not enjoy adult books, unless it's a documentary. I'm a bit of a geek.

What is your favorite TV show?

Doctor Who. Duh.

What is your favorite movie?

I liked Fern Gully as a young girl. Now It's I don't know.

Review:The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan

Since their mother's death, Carter and Sadie have become near strangers. While Sadie has lived with her grandparents in London, her brother has traveled the world with their father, the brilliant Egyptologist, Dr. Julius Kane.

One night, Dr. Kane brings the siblings together for a "research experiment" at the British Museum, where he hopes to set things right for his family. Instead, he unleashes the Egyptian god Set, who banishes him to oblivion and forces the children to flee for their lives.

Soon, Sadie and Carter discover that the gods of Egypt are waking, and the worst of them —Set— has his sights on the Kanes. To stop him, the siblings embark on a dangerous journey across the globe - a quest that brings them ever closer to the truth about their family and their links to a secret order that has existed since the time of the pharaohs.

Sadie Kane can't wait for the arrival of her family. Not that she cares for her annoying brother, but she rarely sees her father. But her hopes of a christmas dinner with him are dashed when a visit to the British Museum ends with the disappearance of her father and the destruction of the Roseta Stone.

Carter's life is a blur after a man by the name of Amos kidnaps them. Even worse, minions of the supposed "god" Set, are chasing after him. With nobody except his sister Sadie, and a crazy cat goddess, he knows that he has to save his father. Also, why does he seem to be stronger and smarter then usual?

Carter is smart and all, but who can not like Sadie? The stubbornness, the sarcastic humor, the sassiness? Who else is as hilariously annoying as she?

Review: Diary of a Wimpy Villager Book 4 by Cube Kid

How will Runt handle the next test?
This is Book 4 of the Wimpy Villager series—a great series for gaming fans of all ages. Grab the first three books before starting this one.

The first three books were about school problems. But something sinister lurks just outside the village-a mysterious forest quickly spreading toward the village. The only clue Runt has is one name-Herobrine.

You totally didn't see this coming. You TOTALLY didn't see this coming.

Let this be a warning to all of you-cookies CAN be dangerous.
